Trevor Mallory’s Plan for St. Petersburg

-Put the ABILITY in AFFORDABILITY: Trevor works with state government, federal entities, and nonprofits to ensure people can gain access to affordable financing so they can buy a home and build wealth.

-Ensure Resilience in Our City: Trevor knows we must invest in our city’s infrastructure to guard against natural disasters and help families recover faster after hurricanes hit. He’ll work to improve and speed up the permitting process so families can immediately start rebuilding. Trevor will also work to protect our green spaces and tree canopy.

-Invest in Our Youth: Trevor knows firsthand that when a city invests in its young people they are able to achieve incredible and improbable goals. The impact of supporting our kids like that is felt for years by our entire community. He’ll work to expand our city’s youth recreation programs and opportunities for young people beyond the athletic field.

-Keep Our Community Safe and Protect Our Neighbors: Trevor will ensure our first responders have the tools, training, and resources they need to respond to emergencies and live in our community. He’ll work to make sure that more of our police, firefighters, and EMTs come from the communities they serve.

-Better Our Quality of Life by Reducing Traffic and Improving Planning: Trevor will work with everyone in our community to ensure broad public input and plan carefully for St. Petersburg’s future. He’ll ensure equitable access to transportation, sufficient housing, and spaces for all businesses to find success.

-NO experimental AI data centers: St. Petersburg needs leaders who will focus on lowering costs for the people who live here. Communities where AI data centers have been built are reporting that electric bills go up, water use rises, and noise around these huge buildings becomes a constant irritant. St. Pete doesn’t need any of that.
